Overview
Pump Station is one of the smaller Eno River access points with only four miles of trails. This section takes its name from the old pump station which provided water to Durham from 1887 to 1927. The remains of the pump station and other old structures still stand. Trail difficulty is easy to moderate.

Laurel Bluffs Trail (2.5 miles, moderate)
Pump Station Trail (1.5 miles, easy)


Landmarks
Foundation of Durham's first water pump station along with the dam, Coon Foot island, remnants of an old hunting lodge, and the mostly intact Guess Mill Dam and Guess Mill.
